Scanning solution for mass digitisation project

The National Archives of Finland is purchasing a scanning solution including scanners, other hardware and software, intended for the Archive's mass digitisation project. During the project, a large number of paper material will be digitised. The purpose of the mass digitisation is to ensure the preservation of the data content of records, which are a part of cultural heritage, and the usability of such documents after their analogue manifestation has been destroyed. Procurement is described in detail in appendix 1 and other annexes.
