Procurement of a High-Speed Broadband Network in Vevelstad Municipality

Vevelstad Municipality in South-Helgeland in Nordland County has received a subsidy from Nkom for the development of broadband in the sparsely populated municipality. The municipality will award a contract for the development of a high-speed broadband network, which includes engineering design services, construction, ownership and operation of the broadband network, so that businesses, inhabitants and holiday residents have an offer of basic good and future-orientated broadband, a so-called “next generation access (NGA)”. The duration of the operation will be the lifetime of the broadband.
