A new primary school is being constructed at Brekstad in Ørland municipality. The school is for 1st — 7th years, with 280 pupils. The building will have 3 floors, including the basement. The ground and first floors are the primary floors that shall be furnished. Each year will have 2 classrooms with the accompanying group rooms. The administration consists of offices, meeting rooms, teacher work rooms and personnel rooms, which shall all be furnished. In addition, the rooms for special teaching are part of the project, which are located on the ground floor. There will be some recycling. The project makes up an area of approx. 4 600 m2. The project shall be completed for the start of the school year in August 2018.
