Balsfjord municipality is a large community in circumference with an area of 1 492 km2 and approx. 5 600 inhabitants. The development of a sufficient broadband service is a condition for increased quality and development for the rural districts that are located in areas inapt for profitability. A well-functioning broadband is required in order to reach the goal for making the municipality's services digitally available.
