The objective of the contract is to reduce work-related sick leave among Sarpsborg municipality's employees, through preventive naprapathy services. According to NAV's diagnosis statistics, muscle and skeleton disorders are the most frequent reason for sick leave and disability benefits.
Sarpsborg municipality has several preventive measures in its IA work, which are aimed at this group.
The service is meant as a supplement to the schemes that are covered by HELFO's refund schemes.
