The research-based competence brokering is a policy instrument in the project VRI4 Sogn og Fjordane. The project VRI4 Sogn og Fjordane shall in the period 2017 — 2019 be financed by the Research Council of Norway's new programme, referred to as FORREGION The main objective of project VRI4 Sogn og Fjordane is to mobilise and stimulate a more research-based innovation, in order to achieve improved added values, increased competitiveness and sustainable viability for businesses in the county. The businesses shall to a larger degree deploy research-based knowledge. The project shall reduce barriers the businesses may have for deploying research-based knowledge. This tender contest includes 4 competence broker areas. Tenders can be submitted for several broker areas, however each area will be evaluated individually. The contracting authority wishes to engage more than one person in total, either by the tenderer offering several persons, or if the broker areas are divided between several different providers.
