Nordland County, the Dental Service includes 49 main dental clinics and 16 sub-clinics, from Bindal in south to Andøy in north. Almost all municipalities have a county dental clinic and the Dental service is therefore the most decentralised service in Nordland County. Nordland County's dental service has approx. 350 employees.
The dental service is responsible for providing dental service for prioritised groups. The prioritised groups are in this context defined as groups of children and youth from 0-20 years, persons with intellectual disabilities, elderlies, handicapped and long-term sick institutionalised patients and the home care service, psychiatric patients with regular treatment services through a local/municipal treatment system, substance abuse treatment and prisoners. The County also provides dental services for adult patients.
The tender contest applies to 5 dental clinics in Bodø municipality; Tverrlandet dental clinic, Bankgate dental clinic, Saltvern dental clinic, Alstad dental clinic and Mørkved dental clinic.
The agreement shall include daily cleaning services.
