The contracting entity Hospital District of Helsinki and Uusimaa ("HUS") arranges competitive tendering (negotiated procedure) for radioactive seeds (iodine-125) and plaques (Ru-106) used in eye radiotherapy. In a negotiated procedure all prospective suppliers may request permission to participate. The contracting entity will negotiate the terms and conditions of the procurement agreement with the suppliers that it selects.
