This document is an invitation to participate in a technical dialogue on the medical equipment required for neonatal intra-patient transfers between hospitals in the neonatal intensive care unit. The objective of the dialogue is to improve our understanding of market offering that would serve this purpose.
Transport incubator
- a neonatal transport incubator suitable for ground and air transport between hospitals in Finland
o newborns from 500 g to 6 kg
o thermoneutral environment
o patient fixation and safety
o patient accessibility
o weight
o insertions of ventilator tubes, infusion lines, monitoring
o fixation rails or suitable interface for a Stryker stretcher
