IMDi in collaboration with Bufdir, will follow-up measure 2 in the action plan Frihet fra negativ sosial kontroll og æresrelatert vold (2021-2024)’ [Freedom from negative social control and honour-related violence (2021-2024)]. The assignment concerns measure 2 in this action plan. ‘Newly arrived refugees and immigrants who are exposed to violence and threats constitute vulnerable groups with special follow-up needs. This includes asylum seekers and participants in the introduction program who are exposed to negative social control, honour-related violence and other violence in close relationships and who are staying at crisis centres. Their need for protection and crisis centre offer will be mapped. How to facilitate victims of violence opportunities for secondary settlement will also be mapped. New knowledge will contribute to strengthening the follow-up of newly arrived refugees and immigrants who are exposed to violence and threats.
