The contract includes the hire of vessels for cleaning up lost fishing tools along the Norwegian coast, along the continental slope and parts of the Norwegian Sea and the Barents Sea.
The cruise shall start in week 33 or 34, 2020 a more specific start date shall be determined by 20 June 2020. However, the earliest possible start date is 12 August and the latest start date is 21 August. The hire period for the vessel is approx. 35 days and nights. Option for an extension of the hire period for up to 10 additional days and nights.
The Directorate of Fisheries wants to hire a vessel with a minimum length of 50 metres (LOA) for this cruise. The offered vessel must be equipped for efficient sweeping by using the vessel's deck system for trawling.
