Deep, Rechargeable Ocean Glider

The Geophysical Institute intends to acquire up to two (1-2) deep ocean gliders with rechargeable battery for use in the Nordic Seas, primarily from the Norwegian shelf break into the Norwegian and Lofoten basins, with water depths ranging from 200 m to 4 000 m. Mission lengths of minimum 4 months duration, with flexible sampling schemes are planned. The gliders must therefor have rechargeable batteries. For more information please refer the Appendix 01.
