18-00638 Bottom Emptying Surface Containers with the Accompanying Technology

ROAF, hereafter called the Contracting Authority, will use this tender to procure bottom emptying surface containers, hereafter called containers. One of ROAF's approved strategy goals is to find future-orientated collection systems and use digitalisation as a tool to reduce the amount of waste and increase the degree that is recycled. ROAF has, therefore, looked at what could be future collection systems. Some preparatory work has been done in order to map the options for a greater degree of digitalisation. A good example is throw-in systems for containers that are not buried. ROAF will, therefore, start a pilot to test this. This procurement is for both surface containers as well as technology that can contribute to reaching ROAF's goals within waste reduction and recycling.
