The procurement is about a media logistics system to manage and operate various media logistics processes. The system is expected to provide comprehensive media file and metadata management functionalities and powerful process management functionalities in an as configurable and flexible manner as possible. Yle is looking for a single off-the-shelf solution/platform that is a highly modifiable and configurable product as such. Since the system will operate 24/7 for the next 5-10 years, high availability, usability, configurability and flexibility of the system are essential.
