The Contracting Authority annually receives approximately 2 500 tonnes of impregnated wood per annum, which is classified as hazardous waste. The Contracting Authority would like tenders for the transport and disposal of this type of wood, in accordance with the requirements described in Annex 1 “Requirement Specifications”. The contract includes the following: — container management for the collection of all types of impregnated wood for all of our recycling stations. A sufficient number of containers shall always be available at each recycling station, — the transport of impregnated wood (including creosote) from our 2 recycling stations at Skedsmo and Aurskog-Høland, — reception and treatment of impregnated wood in accordance with regulations.
