The tender contest involves entering into an agreement for delivery servers and storage systems to the participating municipalities/entities in the BTV cooperation. Description: A server is a combination of hardware and software which together provides a service in a network. This agreement includes both: Hardware, stand-alone or rack installable machines, also blade servers, disk cabinets, disks, separate (redundant) power supply and UPS, tape stations and tape robots for backup as well as systems for SAN and file cluster.
Software: operating systems to servers as well as server software for the service, such as file, print, database, backup, monitoring or distributed applications. Potential separate framework agreements for the software are considered advantageous. The annual value of the contract is approx. 7 500 000 NOK, excluding VAT.
