The municipalities in the National Welfare Technology Programme Finnmark (NVP Finnmark) shall enter into a contract with one tenderer for a uniform system for welfare technology. The cooperating municipalities are Alta, Gamvik, Hammerfest, Karasjok, Kautokeino, Kvalsund, Loppa, Sør-Varanger, Tana and Vadsø. The municipalities shall use service innovation, digitalisation and welfare technology as means to solve the assignments in the health and care services in new ways. The aim is to contribute to self-achievement and increased confidence in users, at the same time as achieving a more efficient use of resources in the service.
NVP Finnmark shall procure a joint system for welfare technology. We envisage a platform which deals with administration, routing, automation /robotisation and that also deals with events and various technological services connected to the platform. For example, patient notification, safety alarms, digital supervision, medicine dispensers, localisation units, electrical locks, etc.
