Hotel and Conference Urban Future — Global Conference 201801690 As Oslo has been declared Europe’s environmental capital [Europe’s green capital] in 2019 and the completion of the FutureBuilt programme, the FutureBuilt municipalities shall collaborate with Urban Future Global Conference (UFGC) to arrange a major international environmental conference in Oslo in 2019. In this regard, a contract shall be signed with a tenderer for hotel and conference services. The conference is a collaboration between public and private parties, and parts of the conference will be financed with public funds. It is therefore natural to carry out a market analysis to ensure a good procurement, so that public procurement regulations are followed. 2400000.00 In order to hold the conference, hotel and conference facilities must be procured. It is anticipated that at least 2 000 people will participate from both Norway and abroad. It is desirable to have premises central in Oslo that are modern, have a large number of hotel rooms, conference premises that are large enough for the anticipated number of participants, and with a large degree of flexibility. The premises must also have a sustainability profile that is suitable for the conference. UFGC has undertaken comprehensive market surveys and cannot see any other parties in the market who satisfy the conference requirements.
