Troms fylkeskommune wants to transition to 0 or low emission city buses in Tromsø with the next tender and is considering electric buses as a very possible alternative. Experience with electric buses other location in the country and in other countries is good and educational, but there is little experience with electric buses in Arctic and topographic conditions equivalent to Tromsø.
The objective of this consultant assignment is a decision basis for the purchase of electric buses and associated charging infrastructure.
