Regional monitoring of insects in 2022

The main purpose of this invitation to tender is to monitor the regional status and changes in the entire insect diversity in two terrestrial ecosystems: semi-natural land and forest. In 2022, the monitoring shall be carried out in Eastern Norway, in Trøndelag and in Southern Norway. The regional monitoring program shall in the long-term show trends in insect populations and explain the reasons for any changes. The program shall also form the basis for insect-based indicators to be included in determining the ecological status.
