The activities of interest will primarily be in marine litter programs and include the following key areas:
1. Provide expertise in conducting desk studies, research, analyzes, findings summaries, policy-oriented articles and assessment reports in support of waste and marine litter programs;
2. Develop an integrated approach to waste management planning for local, national and global influence in developing and transition countries, e.g. facilitate guidelines, contribute to action plans, strategies, inventory etc .;
3. Contribute knowledge-based information to policy development at regional and global levels;
4. Facilitate relevant workshops, stakeholder consultations, etc .;
5. Develop and maintain good relationships and reports regularly to project customers and donors as needed;
6. Offer expertise in waste and marine litter programs' communication, PR and awareness raising activities.
