The assignment involves sample preparation, analysis of microplastics and reporting of the results. Different types of samples from Miljødirektoratet’s (the Norwegian Environment Agency's) monitoring programmes in coastal areas, rivers and lakes will be made available to the service provider. Advanced sampling in water, as well as analysis of air samples, is included as an option.
