Kort beskrivelse
THIS IS NOT A CONTRACT NOTICE NOR A CALL FOR TENDER.
This is not a call for tenders and does not obligate the Acquisition Unit of the Joint Authority of the Helsinki and Uusimaa Hospital District for any actions. The responses to this information request do not obligate the acquisition unit to any material of service acquisitions.
HUSLAB Laboratory of Genetics at HUS (Helsinki University Hospital) Diagnostic Center is a SFS-EN ISO 15189:2013 accredited laboratory providing diagnostic genetic testing services to all patients at Helsinki University Hospital area. The services include analysis of both constitutional samples and malignancies. The laboratory provides sequencing services mainly using local HUSLAB sequencing capacity (Illumina NovaSeq 6000, Ion Torrent S5 and Ion Torrent Proton equipment).
Currently annual number of NIPT tests performed through HUSLAB is 600 - 800. Using current patient selection criteria the estimated testing volume would be 10 - 20 samples per week. No major changes in test volume is expected unless the criteria of patient selection is
altered.
Due to discontinuation of the reagent kit used in in house analysis pipeline the laboratory has terminated diagnostic NIPT testing and will find a replacement solution.
This request for information is released for preliminary evaluation and market research for potential replacement solutions for diagnostic NIPT testing process of HUSLAB. The main objects of this information request are:
1) to obtain information about available alternative reagents, reagent kits, consumables and software for continuation of performing preferably IVD-CE certified NIPT testing using local HUSLAB sequencing capacity.
2) to obtain information about available CE-IVD certified low-to-medium throughput NIPT testing solutions (NGS or other technologies) using other than local NGS capacity.
The response to this request information should include description of the analytical pipeline offered. An estimation of the cost of verification samples in order to verify the sensitivity, specificity and reproducibility of the offered analysis pipeline should also be included.
The information presented in this document and during the information process is preliminary and indicative. HUS does not guarantee to carry out the procurement or a specific method of implementation. The suppliers interested in the procurement are not bound to submit a
tender later on in the possible procurement process. HUS does not pay allowances or compensation for participation in this request for information -process.
Submitting answers:
The supplier should preferably submit an answer to the request for information electronically via Tarjouspalvelu.fi by 4 pm (Finnish time) on 24th of January 2021. Responses from suppliers will be treated confidentially. This request for information is not binding on the Helsinki and Uusimaa Hospital District.
