Development and operation of a zero-emission express boat - Invitation to a dialogue, phase 2
The enclosed hearing notes initiate round two of the market dialogue, in which the Counties shall prepare for strategic political choices. The feedback in this process provides the basis for the recommendations the County administrations give their decision-makers and for the preparation of a tender documentation draft.

In May 2020, Trøndelag, Vestland and Troms and Finnmark Counties conducted the first part of a market dialogue with potential tenderers for the development, construction, piloting and operation of zero-emission systems for local and express boats. The Counties received oral and/or written input from a total of 40 market participants through these dialogue meetings. The Counties coordinate the dialogue with the market and policy instruments in reducing emissions from transport services by express boats.
The purpose of the second part of the market dialogue is to outline strategic choices for each County and their communication needs, receive input from the market and information of the upcoming process. For this part of the dialogue, we have prepared separate hearing notes for express boats and local boats and we accordingly request separate input on express and local boats from the market.
