Femern A/S is planning a fixed link across the Fehmarnbelt.
A production site for tunnel element fabrication and launching facilities will be situated east of Rødbyhavn.
The area is approximately 2 km E-W and approximately 1 km N - S
Archaeological investigations are presently being performed in phases. The next phase comprises open excavations which require ground water lowering in the form of horizontal dewatering, the subject of this tender.
All dewatering shall be by the horizontal drainage method with 2-4 vacuum pumps at each excavation. Drains shall be approximately 1 m below the excavation and embedded into the top of the glacial till, i.e. to 3 – 6 m below ground.
The contract shall include all services for installation, operation and maintenance of the complete system, including generator sets for electrical power.
