The role of the private consultant is to find relevant projects, partners and financiers from China to Finnish companies and to analyze the concrete needs of the Chinese clients. Based on this analysis, the consultant will create and match the right Finnish offering for the Chinese client in cooperation with the Energy Program team. Based on the received information, the consultant supports Energy Program team in organizing B2B meetings and co-creative workshops between the Chinese and the Finnish companies. The service provider needs to name one person to work as a private consultant. The supplier may use subcontractors, and is liable for the work of the subcontractor as if it were its own. Usage of subcontractors must be described in the tender and the tenderer shall supply similar descriptions, affirmations and proofs regarding subcontractors as it supplied on its own behalf. The subcontractor is not allowed to send invoices to Business Finland. Approximately, one week per month should be spent in China with the Energy Program team and the Finnish companies. The consultant should attend the weekly team teleconference. The reporting can be done during these weekly telcos and via email to the project manager. The consultant will be supported by Business Finland team in China and Finland.
