The Contracting Authority depends on IT systems to support parliamentary processes, internal administration and communication with the outside world. Stable and secure IT systems are important for the Contracting Authority, at the same time that the threat against the Norwegian Parliament's IT systems is changing as a result of technological and society changes. This situation means that the Contracting Authority has a lot of focus on information security.
The Contracting Authority focuses on ensuring general management of information security at the Norwegian Parliament. The work consists of mapping, organising and managing security by implementing and administering a management system for information security. The aim of the security work is to prevent, uncover, point out and follow up any security risks.
