The tendered contract concerns the construction of DTU's new basic research centre ‘The Novo Nordic Foundation Center for Biosustainability' (CfB). The contract is offered as a main contract.
The project comprises the construction of a new seven-storey building, including a basement with a total grossfloor area of approx. 11 800 m2.
The building primarily contains research laboratories with supporting laboratories, offices and meeting rooms. The laboratories have high temperature and cleanliness requirements, and the building installations are highly complex.
The floor area can approximately be specified as follows:
— research areas 3 000 m2,
— administration: 2 800 m2,
— technical room(s) and storage room(s): 2 700 m2,
— distribution areas and secondary room(s): 2,800 m2,
— common areas: 500 m2.
The building is to be constructed in an already excavated construction pit. Completion of the construction pit is included in the contract. Laboratory equipment and furniture as well as individual technical contracts, such as surveillance and access control, are not included in the contract as such works are tendered under separate contracts.
