NRK utilizes CDN services from three vendors that currently assist us with delivering streaming services, web traffic acceleration, and security services. NRK has organized its CDN service contracts under a framework agreement. The current agreement is scheduled for a new main tender and must be fully implemented by January 1, 2028.
Consequently, NRK wishes to issue a market inquiry to gather information regarding vendors, the CDN market, functionality, security products, and other relevant insights. This will ensure readiness for issuing a new RFP in the spring of 2027, with the objective of securing an optimal framework agreement for CDN services - benefiting NRK's audience, vendors, and NRK as the contract owner.
