Vordingborg Kraftvarme A/S (the client) invites for tenders for major overhaul of the steam turbine on the clients Power station, Masnedoevaerket. The overhaul will take place August 2024.
 
The scope of supply is a complete steam turbine major overhaul including dismantling and assembly, total inspection of the turbine and NDT inspection of major parts.

The MKV site is located in Vordingborg about 100 km south of Copenhagen, Denmark.

The power unit consists of an ABB V25 steam turbine of 10 MW electrical power to the grid and a district heating net of 23 MJ/s. The unit was commissioned in 1994.
For lifetime calculations it shall be noted that the turbine is expected to have 175 starts and 6000 operating hours per year. Since commissioning in 1994 the turbine has operated approximately 139,000 hours, 240,000 equivalent operating hours and 5039 starts.

The turbine had a major overhaul in 2015 after approximately 95,000 hours, 3300 starts and 195,000 equivalent operating hours.

- Inlet pressure                   90 Bar
- Inlet temperature              520° C
- Operation speed                10800 rpm
