Aalto University, School of Mechanical Engineering, Research Group of Energy Conversion is conducting research on internal combustion engines and new renewable fuels. The main research areas are dual fuel combustion, optical diagnostics of flame propagation inside combustion cylinders, and new bio-based fuels. For these purposes a versatile high-resolution high-speed monochrome camera with excellent time resolution is needed.
