This propcurtement shall introduce the concept Bus as a Service (BaaS) for Nettbuss AS. This means that the IT services shall be delivered through a distributed architect model with clear interface for delivery and responsibility, built to European specifications and standards as defined by ITxPT (www.itxpt.org).

Nettbuss AS has operational, technical and management responsibility for all of their utilised areas, and full responsibility for procurements, installations and operation of necessary equipment. This also means that Nettbuss AS shall carry out operational planning, traffic deviation, traffic monitoring, logging, deviation and preparedness management. Nettbuss needs the agreement and solution to safeguard both operation, support, licenses, system development and adaptations as needed.

The procurement comprises 4 traffic packages (Romerike) with a contract period of 8 years, and the option to extend for 1 year + 1 year + 1 year.
