The Olav Thon Group is primarily involved in the property and hotel business in Scandinavia and continental Europe.
In 2022, Olav Thon Group's operating income amounted to NOK 12.184 million NOK and it employed around 3,400 people. The Group consists of two main divisions: Thon Eiendom and Thon Hotels. Thon Eiendom is Norway's leading property company and has approximately 90 shopping centres and 500 commercial properties in its portfolio.
Thon Hotels is one of Norway’s leading hotel chains. Thon Hotels has approximately 80 hotels in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Brussels and Rotterdam.
In addition, the Group owns a number of restaurants and pubs.
Time Park, a part of Olav Thon Group, manages and operates all the parking spaces (around 50.000) for all the Olav Thon Group properties.
In the autumn of 2022, the Olav Thon Group established a sustainability strategy. The sustainability strategy consists of three pillars with associated long-term ambitions: Climate and nature, Circular solutions and Social justice. As part of achieving the goals, the Olav Thon Group has decided in its sustainability strategy that all hotels and shopping centers must have charging facilities for electric vehicles. The Olav Thon Group and Time Park will enter into a framework agreement for charging stations.
Time Park, a part of Olav Thon Group, is considering purchase of EV chargers.
As part of the preparations for a possible procurement Time Park now seeks to gain a better understanding of the market and current solutions as well as to acquire information on available products and prices. Suppliers of EV charging station are invited to provide written answers and input to the questions listed in sheet tab "2. Questionnaire". Some of the suppliers may be invited to a meeting to review questions and answers, if deemed beneficial.
The answer, including the completed Excel document and any attachments, must be delivered by 7/7/2023 at 1200 AM.
The purpose of this RFI is to gain knowledge of interest and uncover opportunities for procurement of EV charging chargers. Ideas that emerge in this process can be used in the preparation of the competition basis for the upcoming competition.
It is emphasized that input will be treated confidentially.
