Banedanmark, subsequently abbreviated BDK, has during the last 10 years used a system for Life Cycle Cost (LCC) forecasting and long-term planning of mainte-nance and renewal of BDK's physical infrastructure. This system will be phased out and must be replaced with a new, modern and futureproof solution. The existing it-system includes 3 models on track, catenary and bridge assets and has delivered future LCC-optimal renewal plans.
In implementing a new system, BDK is open to a different solution than an LCC system. If the supplier can argue that solutions such as Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), Asset Planning Investment Management (APIM) or others will be more beneficial to BDK, recommendations of this nature are also welcome.
The purpose of the analysis is, that the supplier delivers a market scan and a gap/fit analysis resulting in a recommendation for an IT solution to replace and renew BDK's models within prediction and long-term planning. The recommendation must consider BDK's needs and existing data. BDK prefers a state-of the-art standard software solution, that meets minimum requirements, as well as offers a possibility for further development.
