Pavadinimas Provision of heavy lifting services for the CMS endcaps and HGCAL detectors
Trumpas pirkimo aprašymas CERN intends to place a contract for the provision of heavy lifting services for the CMS endcap and HGCAL detectors. The service will consist of the removal of the current CMS endcaps, their lifting to the surface as well as the lowering and installation of the new HGCAL detector (~250 tons) in the CMS cavern. It will also include the design and supply of the corresponding handling tooling. The contractor shall perform the handling operation during the next long shutdown foreseen from 2026 to 2028.
