Eesmärk
Norwegian Customs is responsible for carrying out border checks on means of transport and loads that pass the Norwegian border by plane, boat, and vehicles on roads.
This border control involves i.a controlling that the import of alcoholic beverages is in accordance with current regulations.
As a consequence of the border controls, alcoholic beverages such as beer, wine and distilled spirits are regularly confiscated.
The Norwegian Customs Service has premises for temporary storage of the confiscated goods, but has a regular need for transport of confiscated goods to a suitable place for disposal and destruction of the relevant goods in a proper manner.
