Eesmärk
The project ‘Kontaktledning med autotransformatorforsyning Neslandsvatn – Kristiansand på Sørlandsbanen’ [Overhead line with auto transformer supply Neslandsvatn - Kristiansand on the Sørland line], will completely renew the overhead line and auto transformer system on the stretch from and including Neslandsvatn to Kristiansand including Kristiansand station, approx. 150 km.
The purpose of the project is to facilitate efficient energy distribution with lower energy losses, correct voltage quality for the trains and provide the opportunity for more and heavier trains on the stretch.
