The Ministry of Justice and Public Security has given NSM the task of carrying out a concept review for the establishment of a national cloud service. This will give a good basis for assessing and ranking the civil service's real need for a national cloud service for processing and storing ungraded information that is worthy of protection (cf. SL section 5-1 og section 5-2).
The review must describe, discuss, and propose who will have what roles in the different conceptual alternatives. At least one of the alternatives must be a cloud service that is owned and run by the government itself, with the use of private competence and innovation vigour. Amongst other things, an assessment must be made as to whether there are systems being planned and established that will cover the needs of a national cloud service. The conceptual alternatives must be based on national processing and storage of ungraded information that is worthy of protection.
