The Norwegian Radiation and Nuclear Regulatory Authority (DSA) will carry out procurement for a underwater gamma spectroscopy detector system.
To allow the DSA to carry out underwater gamma spectroscopy for a range of operational scenarios covering environmental monitoring to emergency response, we require an underwater detector system that could be used in 3 different modes;
- Live streaming of data via a cable to a surface power/data station
- Deployed with an ROV with live streaming of data and power provided by the ROV.
- Fully autonomous for power and data under various deployment methods, where data would be downloaded from detector after recovery on the surface.
