Eesmärk
The purpose of the monitoring methodology is to find out how large an area we have of semi-natural meadows in Norway, and to calculate ecological condition of semi-natural meadows. In the long-term, the methodology will also provide a basis for assessing whether the area of semi-natural meadows is undergoing change. The monitoring is done in stages:
1) Interpretation of previous and new aerial photos, as well as map analysis in order to identify potential semi-natural meadows sought in the field;
2) In the field, the semi-natural meadows are defined, and variables and species are registered. This notice only applies to the monitoring work that will be carried out in 2021.
