LUKE invites tenders for the “Hydraulic laboratory press”. The Hydraulic laboratory press is intended for research purposes. The materials tested are typically biocomposites, wood, engineered wood products and other similar materials. User safety, ability to freely modify the test parameters and the general easiness of operation are of crucial importance. The device is placed into a standard laboratory space equipped with a compressed air supply (4-5 bar), tap water supply, water outlet and electricity source (Finnish national network). The ambient temperature varies from 20 to 28 °C. Excluding maintenance breaks, the device should be measurement ready continuously, throughout the year.
