Førdepakken (the Førde package), Measure 17 Kletten Foot and Cycle Tunnel

The measure includes approx. 590 m foot and cycle path. Approx. 440 m of this is through a new foot and cycle tunnel, and altogether 150 m connection to the existing foot and cycle path in the north west at Bergeum and south east at Førdesida. The foot and cycle path will be 3.5 m wide, including 2 x 0.25 m grass shoulder. The foot and cycle tunnel will be built according to tunnel cross-section T 5.5 in order to give space for the cycle path and foot path. 2.5 m cycle path and 1.5 m foot path separated by non-resistant kerbstones and 2 x 0.25 m shoulder. Deviations have been applied for and granted from requirements for cross-rivets in N500.
