Jondal Municipality has a combined school for primary and secondary education. The school is located in the centre of Jondal, approx. 200 m from the ferry quay towards Utne. At the start of the school year 2017-18, the school had 125 pupils. A multi-purpose hall, etc., is now to be constructed by Jondal School. The new building will include, amongst other things, a sports hall of 20 x 32 m, teaching rooms and a library, the school kitchen and canteen, as well as a gym, grandstand/gallery, technical room and the accompanying facilities. Area: — sports hall, gym and grandstand/gallery with the accompanying facilities: 1421,7 m — school and library with the accompanying facilities, sports team part, ventilation room, technical, cleaning room: 825,3 m — i.e., a total area of 2 247 m
