The aim of this market survey/RFI is to obtain information from suppliers of trolley buses and trolley batteries on:
— available bus material,
— dimensioning energy and charging systems,
— range limitations,
— delivery times and test vehicles.
Skyss will use this information to assess whether charging from the contact wire whilst the vehicles are being driven is technically possible on lines 20, 21 and 80 and what infrastructure would be required.
