The assignment will be clear polluted sea sediment in accordance with the guidelines and guidance from the County Governor in Vest-Agder, the County Governor in Aust and Vest Agder (from 2016) and the Norwegian Environment Agency, as shown in Annex A-1, Work Extent, Environment Work. The assignment consists of:
— preparatory work,
— other work,
— dredging of approx. 35 000 m2 — total approx. 25 000 m3 and delivery to a waste disposal site,
— delivery and laying of covering material made out of mineral matter 0 — 32 mm over approx. 40 000 m2,
— delivery and laying of covering material made out of shell sand over approx. 40 000 m2,
— delivery and laying of active matter that can bind carbon over approx. 630 m2,
— control measures.
The construction of a waterside waste disposal site is being announced as a separate contract. The dredged matter shall be delivered to the waterside waste disposal site in Tjørsvågstrand and this must be coordinated with the construction of the waterside waste disposal site.
