The Norwegian Correctional Service is in process of constructing a new prison in Agder. The prison shall contain two departments, one situated in Mandal and one situated in Froland. The department in Mandal will contain 100 custodial places, and the department in Froland contains 200 custodial places.
A new dental clinic shall be constructed at Agder prison, department Froland. A dental clinic may be constructed for the department in Mandal dependent on the cost benefit analysis.
