Removal and application of an underwater paint system on The Coastguard Ship Svalbard.
The Norwegian Defence Logistics Organisation/Division for Supply/Operational procurement department (FLO/DIV FORS/DAA) intends to obtain quotations and sign a contract for the removal and application of an underwater paint system on KV Svalbard.
The current bottom paint must be removed by sand blasting, any wounds and/or damages are to be improved. New primer must be applied, followed by new ice paint.
The temperature and humidity are important for the ice paint and this must be applied in accordance with the manufacturer's datasheet.
The assignment shall be carried out from 11th July and completed by 08th August 2014.
KV Svalbard is qualified in DNV with the following notation:
