The object of the procurement is to purchase fixed scanner update at the Vaalimaa border crossing point. The object of the procurement also includes maintenance services for fixed scanner. Currently finnish customs has fixed scanner at the Vaalimaa border crossing point, but current fixed scanner has reached the end of life cycle. For this reason, finnish customs purchases an update. In this procurement, fixed scanner means inspection/imaging system, which is used for scanning whole trucks (loaded/unloaded), containers and vehicles to reveal dangerous and/or illegal cargo and to carry out manifest verification to reduce the need for manual inspection.
