Radioactive Materials Road Transport Cask

With this tender process, VTT is searching for a tenderer for the engineering design and manufacturing of a radioactive solid materials road transport cask. It has been determined that a cask and transport system complying with the requirements for an Industrial Package (IP-3) is sufficient for VTT’s needs. The object of the tender process is one licensed road transport cask for radioactive materials. Description of the equipment and objectives of the tender process is given in Annex 1 (Technical Specification of the Equipment). The objective is to find one professional tenderer that can guarantee a high standard of quality and who is capable of providing the road transport capsule that meets the minimum requirements in this invitation to tender and its annexes. The procurement is described in detail in the invitation to tender documents.
