Consultant in South Africa - Organizing "Food from Finland" delegation trips

•Business Finland’s program “Food from Finland” needs local assistance to organize the contents of food company professional visit program trips both in Johannesburg and Capetown •Identifying potential buyers •Creating the network •Organizing meetings with buyers and importers, pre-checking the interest, forwarding the pre-presentation materials and profiles to the parties •Help with practical arrangements: hosting the meetings, logistics •Follow-up •Taking care of the information flow between all the parties, including the Finnish Embassy in South Africa •Organizing a specified team of 3-4 persons for our service •Stakeholders: Potential buyers and importers, retailers, food service operators, other stakeholders, the Finnish Embassy in South Africa, Business Finland / Food from Finland team and delegation team, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Finland •Work will be done in Johannesburg, Pretoria and Capetown •Work will be done in English •Work will be done in consultant’s own premises •Large network of potential partners (importers, retailers, food service) is required, as well as experience of food sector and official delegation trip arrangements. Knowledge of Finnish food companies’ expectations is a benefit. •Work is reported orally and literally in English.
